By the Great Horn Spoon is about a boy named Jack and his butler Praiseworthy. They have left for the California gold rush so they can make their fortune to save Jack’s Aunt’s house.

I am reading a book called Nightjohn, it is about slavery. It is about a guy named John and he teaches a girl how to read and write. The guy that controls all the slaves finds out that John has been teaching the little girl and gets his toes cut off.

A dogs purpose is a sad but in parts it is happy. It was the best book group book I have ever read in all of my years here!

I read a book in 4th grade in reading group. It was short and it was ok. It was called the boy who could fly without a motor.He would try to levitate and he would fly. Everyone went to sleep. He also lived in a lighthouse.  After someone gave him a wish and he picked to levitate. He would see the mermaids at night.

I am reading Fever 1793. This is a book about yellow fever it is when their eyes turn yellow and they die unexpected. There is a girl name Matilda aka Mattie and her family owns a coffee shop and then it comes the season of yellow fever and her mom gets sick. So she and her grandfather go to a farm but their ride goes away so her and her grandfather have to stay on the road then Mattie getssick and has to go to the hospital. Alot of other things happen then she ends up with a little girl named Nell and it is a good book you have to read it. I am not done reading it yet I can’t wait to finsh it.

On Sunday there was a civil war and on Jack and Annie’s adventure there they meet Clara Barton and a drummer boy namedJohn. When Jack and Annie went back home they asked their parents if any one in their family was in the Civil War and they said yes his name was Johnand he played drums and he had five kids. Jack and Annie were shocked.

The book “As Small As An Elephant” is the best book I Have ever read. Especially when I love elephants. It’s about this 11 year old boy that goes on a camping trip with his mom in Maine. They got in a fight the night that they arrived at the camp and his mom said that they would leave the morning they woke up.

But in the morning his mom isn’t there her tent isn’t or even the rental car. Now he has to survive on his 14$ of spending money and he is trying to find his mom and not get caught so he won’t get separated from his mom forever and for a week he’s trying to find her and and trying to find the elephant that his grandmother brought him to see at the circuis Lydia when he was 5 years old. and when he gets caught by the police after spending all his time spending nights in stores,having all of his belongings stolin that he lived on and all he had now is a little plastic elephant that he stole from a store in main. And finally he is caught and he is takin to see his grandmother and his grandmother takes him to see the elephant Lydia and he remembers that if u blow a puff of air in his nose they’ll always remember you so he did and thats how the books ends!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saving Zasha is a great book. Its about a Dog that’s a German Shepard that has survived world war 2. German Shepards were not allowed to be pets then so if anybody had a German Shepard they would kill it. So this kid found a man with a German Shepard named Zasha and the man was hurt READ TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.

Girls book only. I have not finished it yet but its good so far. This girl lives on the beach and always dreams about boys walking up to her

I am reading a book in class, and it is called ” No more dead dogs.” We have not finished it yet. My whole class has a different person in the book. My person is Trudi Davis. So far that I can tell she likes Wallace Wallace, which is Nate in my class. Mrs. Tatulis said that I would have a funny part but it is really disgusting. I wonder what it will be like at the end.
